We collect first and last month's rent, prepare the lease, and get everyone signed. Then you hand over the keys.

Good to know: in Ontario, you can only collect last month's rent as a deposit, plus a refundable key deposit. No damage deposits.

Either way, you'll need

  • Photo ID and proof you own the home
  • Asking rent and move-in date
  • What's included, and which utilities the tenant pays
  • Rental contracts, such as a water heater or furnace
  • Second unit? Tell us if it's registered with the city
  • Condo? Send the building rules and management contact
